Power Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a hardworking, career-oriented person of good character to fill a CDL Class A Driver position within our organization.

The CDL Class A Driver position is responsible for, but not limited to:
Transportation of large goods
Safe and responsible operation of equipment
Performing pre-trip and post trip inspections
Ability to perform general maintenance on vehicle
Safely loading, transporting, and parking box trailers, low boys, and flatbeds
Complying with state and federal laws and regulations
Complying with company policies, standards, and guidelines
Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, and/or damage before and after every trip
Lifting 75+ lbs.
Securing loads with chains and cables
This position requires:
Amazing customer service
Effective communication
A valid driver’s license with a Class A
A passing DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
Driving long distances
2 years of experience driving and a high school diploma or an equivalent; it is preferred that the driver has completed a post-secondary degree involving truck driving with a PTDI (Professional Truck Driver Institute) certified school.
Must be 21 or older
Candidate should be willing and able to learn, be dependable, and have a good work ethic. This position is full-time and requires overtime.
Employee will quickly learn the industry as they progress in their position. We focus on character and adaptability so the applicant must have a professional demeanor, be punctual, and a team player who is focused and self-driven.
