Job description
Duties Include Driving a Standard 10-yard Dump Truck and/or A Heavy-Haul Low Boy Truck and Trailer

Essential Functions:

Drives truck with low-boy trailer, hauling equipment to and from shop and work sites
Positions chains, straps and binders to secure loads during transit
Loads and unloads equipment on low-boy trailers
Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
Maintains logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations
Maintains and checks truck, trailer and supplies to assure roadworthiness
Performs minor emergency roadside repairs as needed
Works various shifts based on the needs of the job
Follows appropriate standard operating procedures as guidelines for operating and maintaining equipment
Be familiar with ODOT Regulations and permitting process
Secondary Duties:

Understands and follows directions regarding job needs
Follows all safety rules and regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Must have a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
Valid Class A CDL and satisfactory driving record required
Demonstrate safe and proper use of assigned equipment
Must be able to meet all physical requirements of position
Pass all drug and/or alcohol screens as required by Company policy and required by DOT regulations
Be at least 18 years of age, or 21 if CDL is required
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred:

Previous experience in construction or similar environment
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a truck driver for low-bed hauler’
